Specific PDs addressed are:
PD2-119375342 : DBUG message reports wrong port number
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Symptoms:
While inserting and removing cable at port 1 following debug message
should be pointing to port 1 instead of port 0. This happens only in
summit chipset (non i-series) old generation product.
02/03/2003 01:57.01 <INFO:SYST> Port 1 link active 100Mbs FULL duplex
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
02/03/2003 01:57.01 <DBUG:PORT> Port 0 in disable state and link came
up
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem is fixed in this patch.
2-GXGKH : Switch learns ARP Entry and populates its tables with that
entry and static entry for same IP addr.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Symptoms: The customer uses static ARP entries to prevent other users
from stealing and using IP addresses that correspond to those static
entries. Unfortunately the switch still learns the second ARP entry
and populates its tables with that dynamic entry along with the static
entry. This causes some random throughput issues, and it compromises
network security.
The problem is fixed in this patch.
PD2-87756775 : ospf best route not selected immediately after it
becomes available.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Symptoms: This problem exist in summit chip based (non-i series) old
generation products only. This is only for the switch generating ICMP.
If the host connected to the switch then it picks up the new route from
ospf when it is available.
The problem is fixed in this patch.
PD2-81903365: Switch does not perform L2 flood when static iparp exists
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---
Symptoms: When ARP already exist but there is no fdb entry, cpu should
flood the vlan.
The problem is fixed in this patch.
