Severity: Error

An analysis code 1 indicates that the specified node is not active in the array based upon the InSplore data processed. You should investigate why this is the case. Possible reasons that may cause this situation, there may be others:

· The node is being replaced as part of a service operation.

· The node has failed and yet to be replaced.

· The node was removed.

You will need to follow up with the appropriate parties to understand the situation.

It is also important to bear in mind when reviewing other findings that this node is not active in the array and may have impacts on other findings.

INEX scans the InSplore contents looking for a node’s “Id” value to determine whether the node is active on the node. INEX will know of the node not only from “show” command outputs but from various logs created in the different node directories in the InSplore. These various log files provide indications of the node even though the data from the shownode—d.out file do not, especially the node “Id” value.
