Several customers with 16GB HBAs have encountered extremely poor performance and even outages as a result of a bug in the firmware, v1.1.65.16,

for these HBAs (LPE16002). The temporary workaround has been to replace the 16GB HBAs with 8GB HBAs temporarily or disconnect the cables from the

array’s 16GB HBAs, again temporarily. These two workarounds are only temporary until new firmware is released addressing this issue. Which

workaround to use will depend on the customer’s configuration.
