Use the following process to disable encryption:

1. Back up the data in the parity group to be decrypted.
2. Disable data encryption on the parity group. For details, see Disabling data encryption.
3. Format the LDEVs in the parity group. For instructions, see Formatting all LDEVs in a parity group.
