Workflow for setting up ShadowImage

Set up SI before you create the copy pair. You must have Storage Administrator (Local Copy) role to perform SI operations.

Complete the following steps to set up SI:

  1. Prepare the volumes for SI (see Preparing volumes for ShadowImage).
  2. (Optional) Enable the system options (see Enabling system options).
