Sending a test email
After configuring email notification, you can send a test email to confirm your settings.
Before you begin
- You must have the Storage Administrator (Initial Configuration) role to perform this task.
- The email alert notification settings must be completely configured before you begin.
- The syslog alert notification settings must be completely configured before you begin.
Procedure
In the Maintenance Utility menu, select Alert Notifications.
In the Alert Notifications window, send a test email from the tab shown below.

Send a test email to the Syslog server.

A completion message displays. Click OK.
