SVP (Web server)

To connect to the key management server by specifying the host name instead of IP address, you need the DNS server settings. For SVP configuration, give your service representative the IP address of the DNS server.

Encryption disk adapter (encryption DKA)

A special disk adapter that provides data encryption.

For both encryption DKAs and standard DKAs, spare disks must be installed. The spare disk of an encryption DKA cannot be used as a spare disk of a standard DKA, and the spare disk of a standard DKA cannot be used as a spare of an encryption DKA.
