21440-208002 The service cannot be restarted. Contact customer support.
21440-208003 The service cannot be restarted. The changed or initialized port number is already used. Follow the instructions below:
- To change a port number, specify a port number that is not used.
- To initialize a port number, change the default port number used by a different service if any, so that the default port number is not used when initialized.
If this problem persists after operations above, restart the SVP, and then retry the operation.
21440-208004 The service cannot be restarted. The changed or initialized port number is already used. Follow the instructions below:
- To change a port number, specify a port number that is not used.
- To initialize a port number, change the default port number used by a different service if any, so that the default port number is not used when initialized.
If this problem persists after operations above, restart the maintenance PC, and then retry the operation.
21440-208005 The DKCMan service cannot be restarted. Retry the operation. If this problem persists, restart the SVP, and then retry the operation.
21440-208006 The DKCMan service cannot be restarted. Retry the operation. If this problem persists, restart the maintenance PC, and then retry the operation.
21513-008004 The service for this storage system is running on a different SVP(MPC). See background service logs using the troubleshooting code in ( ). On the SVP(MPC) with the IP address output in the log, stop the storage system service.
If the router converts the IP address, the output IP address might be different from the IP address of the SVP(MPC). In that case, consult the network administrator.
21513-008005 The IP address for CTL1 or CTL2 set on the Storage Device List is not valid. Stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, set the correct IP address, and then start the service again.
21513-008006 The type of the storage system set on the Storage Device List and the actual type do not match. Remove the storage system from the Storage Device List, and then add it again.
21513-008007 The Config version set on the Storage Device List and that installed on the storage system do not match. Remove the storage system from the Storage Device List, and then add it again.
21513-008008 The serial number of the storage system set on the Storage Device List and the actual serial number do not match. Remove the storage system from the Storage Device List, and then add it again.
21513-008009 The user name set on the Storage Device List is not set on the storage system, or the password is not correct. Stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, set the correct user name or password, and then start the service again.
21513-008011 Internal information of the Communication service cannot be updated. Wait for five minutes. If the problem persists, stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then start the service again.
If the problem still persists after the service re-startup, start the SVP(MPC) again.
21513-008012 The service for this storage system is running on a different SVP(MPC). Stop the service on the different SVP(MPC) to which this storage system is added.
21542-005001 An error occurred during processing. If this problem persists, contact customer support.
21542-005002 The entered serial number is already registered. Enter a different serial number.
21542-005003 The same IP address is entered for IP Address (CTL1) and IP Address (CTL2). Enter different IP addresses respectively.
21542-005004 The value entered for IP Address is not valid. Enter the correct value, and then retry the operation.
21542-005005 The value entered for User Name is not valid. Enter the correct value, and then retry the operation.
21542-005006 The value entered for Password is not valid. Enter the correct value, and then retry the operation.
21542-005007 The value entered for System Name is not valid. Enter the correct value, and then retry the operation.

Clear the check box of "Service starts automatically, when the SVP(MPC) is rebooted." on other storage systems, and then retry the operation.
21542-005019 No more services can be started because the number of storage systems that can be in service at the same time has reached the maximum. Stop the services of other storage systems, and then retry the operation.
21542-005020 The service cannot be started because the environment of the specified storage system cannot be configured. Remove the storage system, and then register it again.
21542-005021 The operation cannot be performed because the specified storage system is in service. Stop the service, and then retry the operation.
21542-005022 The firmware version cannot be obtained. Please confirm the software installation media, and retry.
21542-005023 The SVP(MPC) version cannot be obtained. If this problem persists, contact customer support.

21542-005027 The IP address of the SVP(MPC) cannot be set because at least one of the storage systems is in service. Stop the services of all of the storage systems, and then retry the operation.
21542-005028 The service cannot be stopped because the specified storage system is being used by a different user. Wait for a while, and then retry the operation.
21542-005029 The service cannot be stopped because software on the specified system is being upgraded. Verify that the upgrade is complete, and then retry the operation.
21542-005030 The service cannot be stopped because the specified storage system does not support the stop service function. Clear the check box of "Service starts automatically, when the SVP(MPC) is rebooted." on the storage system, and then reboot the SVP(MPC).
21542-005031 The specified processing cannot be started because a different request is being processed. Wait for a while, and then retry the operation.
21542-005032 A network error occurred. If this problem persists, contact customer support provided in the manual.
21542-005033 The following maintenance operations cannot be performed because the IIS/FTP server is not installed:

- Restore Configuration
- Installing the NAS Unified Firmware
Install and set the IIS/FTP server by following the procedure in the maintenance manual.
21542-005034 The service for this storage system cannot be started because services for different storage systems have been started.
Services can be started simultaneously only for storage systems with software version 83-03-0x-x0/00 or later.
Stop the services for the different storage systems or update the software to a version with which the service can be started simultaneously on this storage system, and then retry the operation.
21542-005035 The automatic start of the service at SVP(MPC) reboot cannot be set for this storage system because the automatic start of the service at SVP(MPC) reboot is set for different storage systems and both of them cannot be started simultaneously.
Services can be started simultaneously only for storage systems with software version 83-03-0x-x0/00 or later.
Clear the check box of [Start service automatically, when the SVP(MPC) is rebooted.] on the Edit System window of the different storage systems, or update the software to a version with which the service can be started simultaneously on this storage system, and then retry the operation.

Every storage system requires 512 MB memory.

22030-205002 The storage system with the specified serial number is not added to the Storage Device List. Verify the specified serial number.
22030-205003 The specified startup type is not valid. Specify enable or disable for the startup type.
22030-205004 This function is not supported. Update the software version of the SVP(MPC) to 83-03-01-x0/00 or later.
22030-207001 An internal error occurred. If this problem persists, contact customer support provided in the manual.
22030-209002 The setup is complete. Start the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then click the status link text to verify the service status list.
If enable is specified for the startup type, SMI-S service is displayed.
If disable is specified for the startup type, SMI-S service is not displayed.
TRCOMM000004 The service for this storage system is running on a different SVP(MPC). See background service logs using the troubleshooting code in ( ). On the SVP(MPC) with the IP address output in the log, stop the storage system service.

If the problem still persists after the service re-startup, start the SVP(MPC) again.
TRCOMM000012 The service for this storage system is running on a different SVP(MPC). Stop the service on the different SVP(MPC) to which this storage system is added.
TRCOMM000016 The SVP(MPC) cannot be connected to the storage system. Verify IP addresses of CTL1 and CTL2 set on the Storage Device List.
If the IP addresses are incorrect, stop the service for the storage system, set the correct IP addresses, and then start the service again.
If the IP addresses are correct, verify the communication path between the storage system and the SVP(MPC) or the GUM operating status.
TRCOMM000017 The Communication service has been forcibly stopped. This error might occur when the SVP(MPC) is restarted while the Communication service is running. Stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then start the service again.
TREXAU000003 The External Authenticator service cannot be started. Stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then start the service again.
If the problem persists after the service re-startup, start the SVP(MPC) again.
If the problem persists after the SVP(MPC) re-startup, set up the SVP(MPC) again.
TREXAU000011 The External Authenticator service has been forcibly stopped. This error might occur when the SVP(MPC) is restarted while the service is running. Stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then start the service again.
If the problem persists after the service re-startup, start the SVP(MPC) again.
If the problem persists after the SVP(MPC) re-startup, set up the SVP(MPC) again.
TRRMIS000003 Environmental setting files for the RMI-API server service cannot be read. Restart the SVP(MPC). If the problem persists after the SVP(MPC) re-startup, set up the SVP(MPC) again.
TRRMIS000004 The RMI-API server service is running using the default port number because the environmental setting information required for the RMI-API server service cannot be obtained. Therefore, the RMI-API server service might not run properly. Restart the SVP(MPC). If the problem persists after the SVP(MPC) re-startup, set up the SVP(MPC) again.
TRRMIS000005 The RMI-API server service is running using the default IP address because the environmental setting information required for the RMI-API server service cannot be obtained. Therefore, the RMI-API server service might not run properly. Restart the SVP(MPC). If the problem persists after the SVP(MPC) re-startup, set up the SVP(MPC) again.
TRRMIS000006 A part of the RMI-API server service functions cannot be used because the port number for the RMI-API server service has already been used. See the troubleshooting section in the manual to perform recovery actions of the troubleshooting code in ( ).
TRRMIS000007 The processing cannot continue because the port number for the RMI-API server service has already been used. See the troubleshooting section in the manual to perform recovery actions of the troubleshooting code in ( ).
TRRMIS000008 A part of the functions cannot be used due to a failure in a file operation in the RMI-API server service. Different applications might access the file that the RMI-API server service needs to use. Stop all other applications, stop the service for the storage system on the Storage Device List, and then restart the service.
