Adding remote paths
Remote paths from local storage systems to remote storage systems can be added as required. The maximum number of paths that can be added is 8.
Before you begin
- Storage Administrator (Remote Copy) role is required.
Procedure
In the Storage Systems tree, select Replication, and then Remote Connections.
In the Connection (To) tab, select the remote connection where you want to add a remote path.
Click More Actions > Add Remote Paths.
In the Add Remote Paths window, for Select Type, select a port type.
Select the port to be used between the local storage system and the remote storage system.
If you selected iSCSI as the port type, enter the IP address and the TCP port number for the remote storage system port. To add more paths, click Add Path.
Click Finish.
In the Confirm window, check the settings you made, and then enter the task name in Task Name.
Click Apply.
The task is registered. The Tasks window displays if the Go to tasks window for status check box is selected.
