SNMP Agent configuration

The SNMP Agent runs on the storage system.

The SNMP Agent communicates with the SNMP manager through the LAN between the storage system and the SNMP manager.

NoteIf you cannot use two or more MIB definition files for USP, USP V/VM, VSP, VSP G1000, VSP Gx00 models, or VSP Fx00 models because of the specifications of the SNMP manager software, use the MIB definition files for VSP Gx00 models or VSP Fx00 models. Error reports include storage system nicknames, which can be used to identify each storage system.
