Completing SIMs for GAD
When the cause of a SIM for TC has been resolved, you need to complete the SIM by using the Complete SIMs (GAD) window. Completing the SIM changes the SIM status to Completed and removes the SIM alert from the header of the Device Manager - Storage Navigator window.
NoteIf the cause of a SIM has not been resolved, a new SIM will be issued.
Before you begin
- Required role: Storage Administrator (System Resource Management)
Procedure
Resolve the cause of the SIM.
From the Actions menu, select Remote Replication, and then Complete SIMs (GAD).
If desired, select Go to tasks window for status.
Click Apply.
If you selected Go to tasks window for status, the Tasks window is displayed.
