Suspending GAD pairs by consistency group
You can suspend all of the GAD pairs registered to a consistency group at the same time.
Before you begin
- The Storage Administrator (Remote Copy) role is required.
- The consistency group must contain GAD pairs (Used must be displayed for Usage in the Remote Replication window or GAD Consistency Group Properties window).
- In the
Remote Replication window or the
GAD Consistency Group Properties window, the status of the consistency group (displayed in the
Status column) must be one of the following:
- Resynchronizing
- When the local consistency group contains the P-VOL (Primary is displayed in the Pair Position column), the consistency group status must be INIT/COPY, COPY, or PAIR.
- When the local consistency group contains the S-VOL (Secondary is displayed in the Pair Position column), the consistency group status must be PAIR, and the I/O mode of all pairs in the consistency group must be Mirror (Read Local).
- The resource group to which the pair volumes of the consistency group belong must be assigned to the user group to which the user belongs.
Procedure
In the Storage Systems tree, select Replication, and then Remote Replication.
In the GAD Consistency Groups tab, select the consistency group to be suspended, and then click Suspend Consistency Groups.
