Select a copy type.

  • TC/TCMF

Description

Maximum Initial Copy Activities

Enter the maximum initial copy activities. By default, 64 is set.

For a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair, specify a value between 1 and 512. For a Universal Replicator pair or Universal Replicator for Mainframe pair, specify a value between 1 and 128.

Blocked Path Monitoring*

Specify the time for monitoring a path blockage between 2 and 45. By default, 40 is set.

This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

Blocked Path SIM Monitoring*

Specify the time for monitoring SIMs that are reported by a path blockade between 2 and 100. By default, 70 is set.

This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

Services SIM of Remote Copy

Select whether to report the services SIM of remote copy.

  • Report
  • No Report (default)

This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

*To specify these items for GAD, specify TC/TCMF for Copy Type. For details, see Changing the blocked-path monitoring and blocked-path SIM monitoring.

CU Options

This is not displayed if GAD was specified for Copy Type.

  • Disable (default)

This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

CUs Table

This is not displayed if GAD was specified for Copy Type.

    Displays the CU number.

    Maximum Initial Copy Activities

    If Disable was selected for Maximum Initial Copy Activities above the table, a hyphen (-) is displayed.

    This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

    PPRC Support

    Displays whether PPRC is supported.

    This is displayed only for a TrueCopy pair or TrueCopy for Mainframe pair.

    Services SIM

    Displays whether to report the services SIMs of remote copy.
