Do not specify noread mode (-m noread) for S-VOLs using RAID Manager. If you do, the command ends normally but the noread mode does not take effect.
If a RAID Manager command is rejected and ends abnormally and the host is running the HP-UX operating system, sense bytes (SSB) are output to the RAID Manager error log file. Sense bytes indicate the cause of the error.
