Navigating the help
The Hitachi Device Manager - Storage Navigator (HDvM - SN) help provides instructions for using the Device Manager - Storage Navigator software.
When you select Help from the HDvM - SN main menu, the Welcome page opens.
When you click the help button (
) on a window or dialog box, the help topic for that window opens. Click the help banner to go to the Welcome page. Click the hamburger button (
) to open Contents. If the hamburger button is not displayed, enlarge the width of the window. Click
Home to go to the Welcome page.
Use the following features to navigate within the help:
- Contents: Use the Contents pane to view the topics available in the help. Click the arrow next to a topic to expand and collapse the view.
- Location: As you browse through the help topics, the location (path) of each topic you view is displayed. Click the back and forward browse buttons (top right) to go the previous and next topics in the help contents. When the topic you are viewing is not displayed in Contents, the back and forward browse buttons are not available.
- Hamburger button: Click the hamburger button () to open the Contents. If the hamburger button is not displayed, enlarge the width of the window.
- Help banner: Click the help banner to go to the Welcome page.
