Troubleshooting

The CLPR name cannot be changed.

You cannot assign the same name to more than one CLPR. The name you entered is already being used or is reserved by a system. Enter another name. For more information, see the table in CLPR names.

The parity group in a CLPR cannot be migrated to another CLPR.

If you cannot migrate parity groups of a CLPR to another CLPR, perform the following operation:

• If you don't click Apply when you create a new CLPR, parity groups are not allocated. Click Apply in the current situation, and then migrate the parity groups.
• If a parity group contains one or more LDEVs that have defined Cache Residency Manager setting, you cannot migrate that parity group. Cancel the defined Cache Residency Manager, and then migrate the parity group.
