Editing the password policy
You can set the minimum number of characters required for passwords.
Prerequisites
Required role: Security Administrator (View & Modify)
In Hitachi Command Suite:
On the Administration tab, click Security, and then Password.
In the Password window, click Edit Settings.
In the Password Policy window, set the minimum number of characters.
In Device Manager - Storage Navigator:
Display the Device Manager - Storage Navigator main window.
From the Settings menu, select Security > Encryption Key > Edit Password Policy (Backup Encryption Keys).
In the Edit Password Policy (Backup Encryption Keys) window, set the minimum number of characters.
Click Finish.
In the Confirm window, confirm the settings, and enter your task name in Task Name.
If you want the Tasks window to open after you click Apply, select Go to tasks window for status.
Click Apply.
