You can perform SI pair tasks after you store snapshot data, but the consistency of the stored snapshot data is not guaranteed.

HTI S-VOLs use the data in the P-VOL. You cannot Quick Restore in SI.

olh-caution.gif HTI uses MU numbers 0 to 1,023. SI uses MU numbers 0 to 2. HTI cannot use the MU numbers 0 to 2 if you want to share HTI volumes with SI.

To share HTI volumes with SI:

  1. (If HTI is using the MU numbers 0 to 2) Delete the HTI pair of the MU number 0 to 2.

  1. Create the SI pairs and HTI pairs.
