Deleting parity groups
The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.
Perform one of following to display the Parity Groups tab.
For Hitachi Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. Right click Parity Groups of the target storage system, then select System GUI. Select the Parity Groups tab.
For the Parity Groups window in Storage Navigator:
In the storage system tree, select Parity Groups, then select the Parity Groups tab.
In the storage system tree, expand Parity Groups select Internal or External, then select the Parity Groups tab.
Perform one of following to display the Delete Parity Groups window.
Click More Actions, then select Delete Parity Groups.
Click Actions > Parity Group > Delete Parity Groups to open the window.
In the Confirm window, confirm the settings, in Task Name type a unique name for this task or accept the default, then click Apply.
A message appears asking whether you want to delete the selected parity group or parity groups. If you want to remove the row, click Apply.
If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
