Changing the tiering policy level on a DP-VOL
The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.
Perform one of following to display the Edit LDEVs window.
For Hitachi Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. Right click Volumes of the target storage system, then select System GUI. On the LDEVs tab, select Edit LDEVs.
For the Logical Devices window in Storage Navigator:
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Logical Devices. On the LDEVs tab, select the LDEV to be edited, click More Actions then select Edit LDEVs.
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Logical Devices. Click Actions > Logical Device > Edit LDEVs to open the window.
For the Pools window in Storage Navigator:
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Pools. On the Virtual Volumes tab, select the LDEV to be edited, click More Actions then select Edit LDEVs.
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Pools. On the Virtual Volumes tab, click Actions > Logical Device > Edit LDEVs to open the window.
In the Edit LDEVs window, select Tiering Policy, and select the tiering policy.
Click Finish.
In the Confirm window, confirm the settings, in Task Name type a unique name for this task or accept the default, then click Apply.
If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
