Adding a selected host to a host group
The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.
To add a host to a host group:
Perform one of following to display the Hosts tab.
For Hitachi Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. On the target storage system, click Port / Host Group. On the Ports / Host Groups / iSCSI Targets window, select the Hosts tab.
For Storage Navigator:
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Ports / Hosts Groups / iSCSI Targets. Select the Hosts tab.
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Ports / Hosts Groups / iSCSI Targets. Select the port in the tree, and select the Hosts tab.
Expand the Storage Systems tree and select Ports / Hosts Groups / iSCSI Targets and the port. Select the host group, and select the Hosts tab.
Select a host which you want to add.
Select Add to Host groups.
Select the desired host groups from the Available Host Groups table, then click Add.
Selected host groups are listed in the Selected Host Groups table.
If you select a row and click Detail, the Host Group Properties window appears.
Click Finish.
The Confirm window appears.
In the Add to Host groups window, confirm the settings, in Task Name type a unique name for this task or accept the default, then click Apply.
If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
Click OK to close the message.
