Deleting iSCSI targets
The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.
This task cannot be performed if corresponding with following:
Host I/O processing is being performed.
Hosts are not reserved (mounted) in the iSCSI target.
Perform one of following to display the tab.
For Hitachi Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. On the target storage system, click Port / Host Group. Select the Host Groups / iSCSI Targets tab.
For Storage Navigator:
In the Storage Systems tree, expand the Ports / Host Groups / iSCSI Targets. Select the Host Groups / iSCSI Targets tab
In the Storage Systems tree, expand the Ports / Host Groups / iSCSI Targets and select the port. Select the iSCSI Targets tab
Select the iSCSI target that you want to delete.
Display the Delete iSCSI Targets window by performing one of following:
Click More Actions, then select Delete iSCSI Targets.
From the Actions menu, select Ports/Host Groups, iSCSI, then Delete iSCSI Targets.
In the Delete iSCSI Targets window, confirm the settings, in Task Name type a unique name for this task or accept the default, then click Apply.
If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
Click OK to close the message.
