Displaying alerts
You can check if the failure (SIM) is reported or not in the storage system by checking the Alert in the Device Manager - Storage Navigator main window.
Prerequisites
You must have the Storage Administrator (View Only) or Storage Administrator (Initial Configuration) role to perform this task.
Procedure
Use either of the following methods:
In the Hitachi Command Suite: On the Resources tab, click Storage Systems and expand the storage system tree. Then, Under Local Storage System. select Maintenance Utility.
In Device Manager - Storage Navigator: On the main window, click .
In the Alerts tab, select DKC or GUM to check alert information.
Click the Alert ID link to check the detailed information for each alert. The error information displays in the Alert Detail window.
