Workflow for creating and managing Thin Image pairs
Use the following workflow to create and manage an HTI pair:
Create the data pool (see Creating Thin Image data pools).
Create the V-VOL for the pair (see Creating LDEVs).
Check the pair status (see Checking Thin Image pair status).
Create the HTI pair. You can:
Create the HTI pair using HDvM - SN.

Create the HTI pair using the CCI and assign the pair to a snapshot group.
For more information about how to create HTI pairs using CCI, see Creating Thin Image pairs and defining them in snapshot or consistency groups using the CCI.
If you have assigned the pairs to the consistency group, split the HTI pair using the consistency group to store snapshot data.
Delete the snapshot data. To do this, complete one of the following:
Delete the HTI pairs (see Deleting Thin Image pairs).
Delete only the snapshot data (see Resynchronizing Thin Image pairs).
