Adding an SNMP Manager IP address and community for GET REQUEST and GETNEXT REQUEST operations

This topic describes how to add an SNMP Manager IP address and a community for accepting GET REQUEST and GETNEXT REQUEST operations.

olh-note.gif The added community for trap destination normally accepts GET REQUEST and GETNEXT REQUEST operations only from specified SNMP Manager IP addresses. If no SNMP Manager IP addresses are added, the community accepts GET REQUEST and GETNEXT REQUEST operations from all IP addresses.

Prerequisites

You must have the Storage Administrator (Initial Configuration) role to perform this task.

For more information, see the Hitachi Device Manager - Storage Navigator User Guide.

  1. Click Add in Trap Destination.
