  • An error about insufficient capacity is displayed when a user attempts to create an LDEV with sufficient capacity.

  • An error about an LDEV operation that does not exist is displayed when a user attempts to create a pair for an existing LDEV.

The configuration information in Storage Navigator and the controller configuration information might not match.In the Storage Navigator main window, click File > Refresh All and reload the configuration information. Then run tStorage Navigator again.

If this does not solve the problem, contact Hitachi Solution Support Center.

The software on the service processor is upgraded or downgraded.

Close all Storage Navigator windows, and then clear the browser cache. Even when you are not sure that the software on the service processor is upgraded or downgraded, clear the browser cache.

Storage Navigator processing is temporarily delayed.

Internal processing (such as, configuration change, P.P. check, or operational information acquisition) might be running on the service processor.

Storage Navigator processing is delayed.

The local storage value for Adobe Flash Player might decrease. Follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the Storage Navigator main window and click Settings to open the Adobe Flash Player Settings window.

  1. In the local storage settings, move the slider until Unlimited appears and then click Close.

  1. Close Storage Navigator.

  1. Restart Storage Navigator.

  1. If the local storage confirmation dialog box appears, click Allow.

Installation of an SSL signed certificate fails

The passphrase for the SSL certificate might be set. Release the passphrase. .

You cannot resolve an error condition.

Do the following, and then contact Hitachi Solution Support Center.

  1. Log in to the SVP.

  1. In the SVP, use the dump tool to copy the Storage Navigator detailed dump files onto recording media.
