Monitoring Universal Replicator pair operation history

You can review a pair’s history of operations, including each operation’s description, the date and time the operation took place, primary and secondary system information, and other details.

To view a pair’s operation history

1. Open the Replication window:

In Hitachi Command Suite: On the Resources tab, expand the Storage Systems tree, right-click the target storage system, and click Replication Dashboard.

In Device Manager - Storage Navigator: In the Storage Systems tree, click Replication.

2. From the Actions menu, click Remote Replication > View History.

3. In the History window, for Copy Type, make sure UR is displayed.

Note the following when viewing histories.

• The History window shows the most recent 8,192 user tasks.

• The Description column displays the operation that was performed. The Descriptions are explained in the following table.

• “LDEV ID” indicates the physical LDEV ID in the storage system, even when you use CCI and use pair volumes in a virtual storage machine.
