Replacing a journal volume with a reserve journal volume using RAID Manager

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Add a reserve journal volume to the journal.

raidcom add journal -journal_id <journal ID#> -ldev_id <ldev#>
  1. Check the LDEV number of the journal volume that is currently being used.

raidcom get journal
  1. Delete the journal volume to be replaced.

raidcom delete journal -journal_id <journal ID#> -ldev_id <ldev#>
  1. Resynchronize the journal.

pairresync -g <group>
