Disabling LUN security on a port

Before you begin

One of the following roles is required to perform this task:

olh-caution.gif Do not disable LUN security on a port when host I/O is in progress.

Procedure

  1. Open the Ports/Host Groups/iSCSI Targets window.

In Command Suite:

  1. On the Resources tab, click Storage Systems, and then expand All Storage Systems and the target storage system.

  1. Click Ports/Host Groups/iSCSI Targets.

In Device Manager - Storage Navigator:

  1. Click Storage Systems, and then expand the Storage Systems tree.

  1. Click Ports/Host Groups/iSCSI Targets.

  1. In the Ports/Host Groups/iSCSI Targets window, click the Ports tab.

  1. Select the desired port, and then click Edit Ports.

  1. Select the Port Security check box, and then select Disable.

  1. Click Finish. If disabling LUN security, a message appears, indicating that only host group 0 (the group whose number is 00) is to be enabled. Clicking OK opens the Confirm window.

  1. In the Confirm window, confirm the settings, in Task Name type a unique name for this task or accept the default, and then click Apply.

If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
