You can create Thin Image data pools using HDvM - SN. A Thin Image pool must be created when you use either a V-VOL or a DP-VOL as an S-VOL of Thin Image.
You can create a Thin Image pair and define the pair in a consistency group. You can create 1,024 Thin Image pairs at the same time for , and 32,768 for VSP G200, G400, G600, G800. To create more than 1,024 (or 32,768) pairs, repeat this task.
If you lose power and the data in shared memory is lost, the
VSP G1000 storage system saves the data to SSD at the time the power supply is switched off, but for
VSP G200, G400, G600, G800, you must recreate the pools and pairs.
