Removing remote connections

Remote connections from local storage systems to remote storage systems can be removed. When a remote connection is removed, all remote paths to the selected remote storage system are removed from the current local storage system. When a remote connection is removed, operations of GAD between other local storage systems and their remote storage systems are not affected.

Even after removing a remote connection, you can reconfigure a remote connection and add a different remote storage system to the local storage system. For VSP G1000 you can also remove a remote connection, change the Initiator port back to RCU Target port, and then add a server channel of a local storage system.
