Parity group and volume

When adding drives to increase LDEV free space, the free space can be increased in the storage system by configuring RAID. VSP G200, G400, G600, G800 and VSP F400, F600, F800 support RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 6.

In one parity group, a maximum of 2,048 fixed-size volumes (FVs) and some free space is available. Maximum number of LDEVs in the storage system are as follows:
