Removing port CHAP users

To perform this task, following roles are required:

• Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role

• Security Administrator (View and Modify) role

1. Perform one of the following to display the Ports tab.

For Command Suite:

• On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. On the target storage system, click Port / Host Group. Select the Ports tab.

For Storage Navigator:

• In the Storage Systems tree, click Ports/Hosts Groups/ iSCSI Targets, select the Host Groups / iSCSI Targets tab.

• In the Storage Systems tree, expand Ports/Hosts Groups/ iSCSI Targets, select the Ports tab.

2. Select the port CHAP user port name to be removed.

3. Display the Remove Port CHAP Users window by performing one of the following:

• Click Remove Port CHAP Users.

• From the Actions menu, select Ports/Host Groups, iSCSI, Authentication, then Remove Port CHAP Users.

4. Confirm the settings and enter the task name in the Task Name box.

A task name can consist of up to 32 ASCII characters (letters, numerals, and symbols). Task names are case-sensitive. (date) - (task name) is input by default.

5. Click Apply in the Confirm window.

If the Go to tasks window for status check box is selected, the Tasks window appears.
