Downloading the tier relocation log file

The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.

You can download the log file that contains the results of past tier relocations. See Tier relocation log file contents for information about the contents of the log.

1. Perform one of the following to operate Tier Relocation Log Export.

For Command Suite:

• On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. Right-click DP Pools of the target storage system, then select System GUI. On the Pools tab, click More Actions and select Tier Relocation Log Export.

For Storage Navigator:

• In the Storage Systems tree on the left pane of the main window, select Pools. In the Pools tab, click More Actions and select Tier Relocation Log Export.

• From the Actions menu, select Pool management > Tier Relocation Log Export.

2. In the dialog box, specify a folder for the log file you download and click Save.

If you change the file name from the default, make sure the file name is appended with the .tsv extension before saving the file.
