Stopping tier relocation manually

The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.

1. Perform one of the following to display the Pools window.

For Command Suite:

• On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. Right-click DP Pools of the target storage system, then select System GUI.

For Storage Navigator:

• In the Storage Systems tree on the left pane of the main window, select Pools.

2. From the Pools, click the row of a pool.

3. Perform one of the following to display the Stop Tier Relocation window.

• Click More Actions to select Stop Tier Relocation.

• Click Actions > Pool > Stop Tier Relocation to open the window.

4. In the Task Name text box of the Stop Tier Relocation window, enter the task name.

You can enter up to 32 ASCII characters and symbols in all, except for \ / : , ; * ? " < > |. "date-window name" is entered by default.

5. In the Stop Tier Relocation window, click Apply to register the setting in the task.

If the Go to tasks window for status check box is selected, the Tasks window appears.
