Restoring blocked LDEVs in a parity group
The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.
Perform one of the following to display the tab.
For Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. Right-click Parity Groups of the target storage system, then select System GUI. Displays the Parity Groups tab.
For Storage Navigator:
To display all parity groups in the storage system, expand the Storage Systems tree, and select Parity Groups. Display the Parity Groups tab.
To display parity groups related to Internal or External, expand the Storage Systems tree, and select Parity Groups > Internal or External. Display the Parity Groups tab.
If Blocked appears in the LDEV Status column, use the following steps to restore a blocked LDEV.
If Blocked does not appear in the column, skip the remaining steps.
Select the parity group.
You can select multiple parity groups that are listed together or separately.
Open the Restore LDEVs window in one of two ways.
Click More Actions > Restore LDEVs.
From the Actions menu, select Logical Device > Restore LDEVs.
Note the settings in the Confirm window and enter a unique Task Name or accept the default and click Apply.
If Go to tasks window for status is checked, the Tasks window opens.
