Confirming communication status

Confirm the status of The Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role is required to perform this task.

1. Perform following to display the Test Communication Statuses window.

For Storage Navigator:

• Click Actions > Ports/Host Groups > iSCSI then > Authentication to open the Test Communication Statuses window.

2. Select the port ID from Local Port ID (From).

3. In IP Address (To), select IPv4 or IPv6 then specify the IP address.

4. Click Test.

5. In the Communication Statuses table, confirm the result.

6. Click Close.
