Changing iSCSI target setting
Before changing the host mode of an iSCSI target, back up data on the port to which the iSCSI target belongs. Setting host mode should not be destructive, but data integrity cannot be guaranteed without a backup.
When a secret is changed two times or more for the same iSCSI target successively, perform the next change after waiting for the completion of the task that has been applied. If the secret is changed without waiting for the completion of the task that has been applied, the user name which you expected to be changed can not be incorporated.
This task cannot be performed if host I/O processing is also being performed or if hosts are not reserved (mounted) in the iSCSI target.
To perform this task, the following roles are required:
Storage Administrator (Provisioning) role
Security Administrator (View and Modify) role
Perform one of the following to display the tab.
For Command Suite:
On the Resource tab, expand the Storage Systems tree. On the target storage system, click Port / Host Group. On the Ports / Host Groups / iSCSI Targets window, select the Host Groups / iSCSI Targets tab.
