Setting HOST I/O Performance options

This section describes how to set Host I/O Performance options using Storage Navigator. For details about how to set Host I/O Performance options using RAID Manager, see the RAID Manager User Guide .

Procedure

  1. In Hitachi Command Suite:

  1. On the Resources tab, click Storage Systems, expand the storage system tree, right-click the target storage system, and then select Replication Dashboard.

In Storage Navigator:

  1. In the Explorer pane, click Storage Systems, expand the storage system tree, and then click Replication.

  1. In the Replication window, click Edit Options > Local Replication.

  1. From the SI/TI System Options table, select HOST I/O Performance, and then click Enable.

  1. Click Finish.

  1. Enter a task name and click Apply to apply the setting to the storage system. The setting is queued as a task and performed in order.

olh-tip.gif To open the task window after closing the wizard, select Go to tasks window for status and click Apply in the wizard.

  1. Open the task window to verify the result of the operation. A task can be suspended or canceled if the processing of the task is not started.
