Add Remote Connection window
Use this window to connect storage systems for remote replication.

Specify the same value for VSP Gx00 and VSP Fx00 models.
If you specify a value other than the above, it is assumed to be a storage system to be supported in the future. In that case, such a model is enclosed in parentheses when displayed on the Remote Connections window. |

Serial Number |
Serial number of the remote storage system in decimal.
Note: When using virtual storage machine volumes, specify the serial number of the storage system. Do not specify the serial number of the virtual storage machine. |
Remote Paths

Path Group ID |
Path group identifier (00 to FF). Up to 64 path group IDs can be registered per storage system. |

Minimum Number of Paths |
Minimum number of remote paths.

Select Type |
Select the port type.
|

Port ID (local storage system) |
Select the port ID of the local storage system. |
|
Port ID (remote storage system) |
Select the port ID of the remote storage system. A hyphen (-) button displays when the number of valid paths are more than the minimum number of path. The port text box for local and remote storage system can be deleted by clicking the hyphen (-) button. |

IP Address |
Select the port's IP type (IPv4 or IPv6) of the remote storage system, and then enter the IP address. Only displays when selecting iSCSI for Select Type. |

TCP Port Number |
Enter the TCP port number of the remote storage system. Only displays when selecting iSCSI for Select Type. |

Add Paths |
Opens a dialog box for creating additional paths (maximum of eight). |
