About Universal Replicator

Universal Replicator (UR) enables you to copy the data on volumes at a primary site to volumes at a remote secondary site, providing a solution to avoid cases when the primary data center is affected by a disaster that stops operations for a long period of time. The volumes in the secondary system are asynchronous block-for-block copies of the primary volumes that are consistent with the primary volume data and therefore available for recovering the data on the primary volumes if a failure occurs at the primary site. By providing replication between remote sites, Universal Replicator enables recovery from region-wide disasters.
