Workflow for creating data encryption keys

Create data encryption keys to use with the Encryption License Key feature.

Use the following process to create data encryption keys:

1. Create the data encryption key or group of keys.

2. Create the secondary backups of the data encryption keys.

For details, see Workflow for creating secondary backups of the data encryption keys.

3. Schedule regular weekly backups of all of your data encryption keys to ensure data availability.
