Remote path status problems
The following table provides a list of remote path status problems.

Initialization Failed |
The link initialization procedure to the secondary storage system failed because the physical path connection was missing between the primary and secondary storage system. |

Communication Time Out |
Communication between the primary and secondary storage system timed out. |
|
|
Port Rejected |
The primary storage system rejected the logical path link control function because all logical path resources in the primary storage system are used for other connections. |
|
|
Serial Number Mismatch |
The primary storage system's S/N does not match the specified S/N. |
|
|
Invalid Port |
The specified local storage system port is in the following status:
|

|
Pair-Port Number Mismatch (VSP G1000, G1500, and VSP F1500) |
The specified port in the primary storage system is physically disconnected from the primary storage system. |
|
|
Pair-Port Type Mismatch (VSP G1000, G1500, and VSP F1500) |
The specified secondary storage system port is not configured as an RCU target port. |
Make sure that the secondary storage system port is configured as an RCU target port. |

Communication Failed |
The primary storage system connected to the secondary storage system successfully, but logical communication timeout occurred. |

In Progress |
Paths are being created or deleted, or the port attribute is being changed. |
Wait until processing is completed. |
|
Path Blockade |
Blockaded due to continual path or link failure. |

Repair the port on the local storage system, and then restore the path.* |

The remote storage system port does not work. |

* To restore a path, delete and then add the path again. It may be necessary to delete and then add the secondary system again. To delete the secondary system or path, see Deleting TrueCopy or Deleting remote paths. To re-register, see Adding remote connections.
