Logfile Entries for Storage Polling

The Polling End logfile entry (code 56131) may include additional keywords for specific device types.
This page shows the keywords that may appear when Storage (HDS AMS/WMS/SMS, 9500 and 9200) devies are polled.

NoRoute:Will have an 'A' or 'B' appended. Shows a communication failure when attempting to communicate with the shown controller port. A is the first controller port. NoRoute:A and NoRoute:B may appear in the same log entry - in which case, the poll end status will be 'CommFail'.
MPA 'major poll' is allowed - all data may be collected
No 3E_BBShows that an attempt to fetch Power Saving status has failed.
Ports[4]:AB..|..:StatusShows an attempt to fetch details of Host Port status.
The number with [] shows the number of ports possible on the device.
The data between the two ':' characters shows the availability of HostPorts on each controller. The first controller is to the left of '|' and the second controller to the right.
'.' indicates that the relevant Host Port is not available, or not vaid. A letter 'A' through 'H' shows that Host Port indicated is valid.
Status will be either 'OK' if the details were fetched successfully, or 'Fail' if there was a communication error in the request.
