You can remotely monitor and manage servers, install and repair OSs, and install device drivers by using the following methods:
The remote virtual console displays the operating status of remote devices in real time. You can click icons to control remote devices. Table 2 describes the icons and their functions.

After you select
, set up a virtual CD-ROM drive by using the local CD-ROM drive or CD-ROM image file on the client.

Services are interrupted during power-off, cold reset, or graceful reboot. Perform these operations with caution.

. The displayed menu contains Power On, Power Off, Cold Reset, Graceful Reboot, Video.
Power management involves powering on, powering off, cold reset, and graceful reboot.
Power On: powers on a device.
Power Off: powers off a device.
Code Reset: performs cold reset on a device.
Graceful Reboot: performs soft reset on the device, that is, performs log-off only.
Video: records a video for the current remote control screen.
The video file is in .rep format. You can play or edit it by choosing .
On the toolbar, Num, Caps, and Scroll indicate the keyboard indicator status for a remote device.
In full screen mode, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt to show the toolbar on the top of the screen.
