Name Meaning

OID

OCTET

Indicates the name of an interface.

Impact on the System

None

Possible Causes

  • Available IP addresses in the NAT address pool were insufficient on the interface configured with outbound NAT.
  • Outbound NAT uses port numbers in the range from 10240 to 49151 for address translation. If these port resources are used up by static NAT or other services, address translation cannot be performed.

Procedure

  • Check whether the NAT address pool has no available port. If so, disable unnecessary services to release port resources.
  • If the number of addresses in the NAT address pool does not exceed the maximum value 255, run the nat address-group command to extend the address range.
