Description

OSPF/4/IFBADRX:OID [oid] An OSPF packet that is received on a non-virtual interface cannot be parsed. (IfIpAddress=[ip-address], AddressLessIf=[interface-index], ProcessId=[process-id], RouterId=[router-id], PacketSrc=[source-ip-address], PacketType=[packet-type], InstanceName=[instance-name])

An unparsable OSPF packet was received from a non-virtual-link interface. The possible cause was that the device was attacked or the interconnection between the Huawei device and non-Huawei device failed.

Impact on the System

This alarm is generated when a common interface receives an error packet that cannot be processed. The interface discards the packet, which may cause the neighbor to go down.

Possible Causes

An incorrect packet that was sent by the peer non-virtual-link interface was received.
  • The packet length was incorrect (possibly because the Router-LSA sent by the peer end was too long.)
  • The packet content was incorrect.
