Description

SECE/4/ICMP_IF_SPEEDLIMIT_ALARM:OID=[oid]. Interface icmp packet speed exceed the speed-limit value [INTEGER],Interface=[OCTET].

The rate of ICMP packets on an interface exceeds the alarm threshold.

Impact on the System

If the alarm is generated, it indicates that the user traffic volume exceeds the threshold. The excess traffic is discarded by the AC. As a result, user traffic may be interrupted intermittently.

Possible Causes

The rate of ICMP packets on an interface exceeds the alarm threshold.
