Possible Causes

The fan is faulty.
NOTE:

The AC6508, AC6507S, AirEngine9700S-S, and ACU2 do not have a fan. Check the chassis fans or environment temperature.

Procedure

  1. Run the display temperature command to view the current temperature and upper and lower alarm thresholds. Ensure that the upper and lower thresholds are set properly.
  2. Run the display fan command to check whether the fan is operating properly. If not, repair or replace the fan.
