NOTE:

This alarm takes effect only on Huawei-certified optical modules. If the internal diagnosis mechanism of non-Huawei-certified optical modules is incomplete, alarms may be incorrectly reported.

Possible Causes

The transmit power of the optical module exceeds the upper threshold.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the local optical module matches the peer optical module. If not, replace the local optical module to match the peer optical module.
    1. If this alarm persists, go to step 2.
    2. If the alarm is cleared, go to step 4.
  2. Check whether the optical module is a Huawei-certified optical module. If not, replace it with a Huawei-certified optical module.
    1. If this alarm persists, go to step 3.
    2. If the alarm is cleared, go to step 4.
  3. Collect alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
