Impact on the System
Services on the optical module may be affected, which probably leads to error codes, error packets, or even service interruption.
NOTE:
NOTE: This alarm takes effect only on Huawei-certified optical modules. If the internal diagnosis mechanism of non-Huawei-certified optical modules is incomplete, alarms may be incorrectly reported.
Procedure
- Check whether the local optical module matches the peer optical module. If not, replace the local optical module to match the peer optical module.
- If this alarm persists, go to step 2.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to step 4.
- Check whether the optical module is a Huawei-certified optical module. If not, replace it with a Huawei-certified optical module.
- If this alarm persists, go to step 3.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to step 4.
- Collect alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
- End.
